Associate Professor Charlotte Scheutz received the Statoil Price 2015 at an event at the National Museum Friday March 20th.
The honorable price including a check of 100 000 DKK was awarded for her research on methods to measure fugitive releases of greenhouse gasses - in particular methane and dinitrogenoxides - from waste treatment plants, landfills and biomass storage sites.
The Statoil Price has been awarded annually since 1960 to a younger professor for outstanding research within a technical field of societal relevance. Many former award winners as well as the President of DTU Anders Bjarklev and Dean Martin Bendsøe were present during the event.
It is a great honor to DTU Environment that one of our many promising and engaged professors receive such a price.
